8 Power Controller State Machine

8.1 Overview

ThepowercontrollerstatemachineisthemainstatemachineoftheMYXPM6021.Itiscomprisedoftwophases.Therst

phaseimplimentsthepowerupsequence.Itevaluatesalloftheconditionsforasafebootupandthecongurationdata

isalsoreadoutoftheOTP/EEPROM.Thesecondphaseimplimentsthepowersequencingsothatallofthepowerrails

fortheSoCandtheplatformareturnedonaccordingtocertainsequencingrules.

Thesequencerisveryexibleintermsofcomponentenableorderingandtheintermediatedelaysbetweenthem.Optionally

thesequencercanwaitforacertaincondition;forexampleabreakpoint,anexternalprogrammedtriggerorwaitingina

systempowerstatelikeSOC_S4.ThesequencecongurationisstoredintheOTPmemory,thecontentsofwhichare

readoutduringtherstpowerupcycle.Thesequenceralsocontrolstheclockrequestfordifferentblocks.
